METHOD OF PUMPING NON-LUBRICATING LIQUID BY GEAR PUMP Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC F04C2/08 

FIELD: mechanical engineering; oil producing industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in pumping plants designed to maintain formation fluid pressure in oil wells and at field oil piping and for delivery of oil in main pipelines. Proposed method of pumping non-lubricating liquid by gear pump comes to the following: two rows of gears, auxiliary and working ones, with same parameters of engagement are installed in housing of gear pump. Gears of auxiliary row are connected with corresponding gears of working row by couplings. Space of housing accommodating auxiliary row gears is isolated from handled liquid and is filled with lubricating liquid.

EFFECT: provision of pumping of non-lubricating liquids by gear pump at high flow rate high pressure without violation of involute tooth system.
