FIELD: aerodynamics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed simulator representing vertical wind tunnel comprises diving chamber to make parachute-jumper feed free fall. Parachute-jumper is supported by airflow generated by blowers communicated, above said diving chamber, via duct. Intermediate platform with openings into diving chamber adjoins the latter. One or two return air channels to force air from blower outlet to blower inlet. One segment of said channel comprises opposite shutters to control simulator inner temperature by feeding outside air there inside. Several segments of the channel can be used with diverging walls.
EFFECT: higher efficiency due reduction in height.
