FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly to method to ensure rail track right-of-way width using reinforced concrete ties on transition curves. Method to ensure rail track right-of-way width on curves of transition from rail track in straight sections and 350 m-radius curves into those with radius less than 350 m and back consists in that reinforced concrete tiers with different structural factor K are used on transition curves. Parametre K magnitude corresponds to distance between stop elements on tier ends and is defined from the following formula, K=KH+(SR-SH). On curve start, reinforced concrete tiers with sequentially increasing parametre K are laid, while on curve end, tiers with decreasing parametre K are laid. K change interval makes 2 mm.

EFFECT: possibility to use reinforced concrete tiers on curves with radius smaller than 350 m and smooth track width transition on curve start and end.
