METHOD OF MONITORING AND PREDICTING TECHNICAL STATE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AND PREDICING TECHNICAL STATE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC G01M7/00

Abstract RU 2381470 C2

FIELD: physics; control.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to automated systems for monitoring technical state of buildings and structures and can be used in designing, construction and use of buildings and structures, including in accordance with programs for designing and constructing tall buildings, unique structures and high-risk objects. The method of monitoring and predicting technical state of buildings and structures involves installing a sensor unit and automated monitoring system equipment on a building or structure, determining technical state parametres of the object from measurements of these sensors and/or equipment, filtering technical state parametres of the object into two parametre groups: a group of technical state parametres of the lower part and a group of technical state parametres of the upper part of the object, determining design parametres of structural units of the upper part of the object based on technical state parametres of the lower part of the object, comparing design parametres of structural units of the upper part of the object with similar parametres of structural units of the upper part of the objects determined from in-situ measurements of the monitoring system sensors, correcting parametres of the mathematical model of the object under the condition that, design parametres of structural units of the upper part determined from in-situ measurements are greater than a given threshold, determining the trend of technical state parametres of the lower part of the object from the measured technical state parametres of the lower part, extrapolating trend values of technical state parametres of the lower part of the object on given time interval, determining predicted design technical state parametres of structural units of the upper part of the object based on extrapolation data of technical state parametres of the lower part of the object, recording for the user the predicted assessment of the future technical state of the object based on comparative analysis of the predicted design parametres of the technical state of structural units of the upper part of the object with admissible limit values. The system for monitoring and predicting technical state of buildings and structures which realises the method given above includes an impact action device, a sensor unit and automated monitoring system equipment, a unit for calculating technical state parametres of the object, a unit for filtering technical state parametres of the object, a unit for determining trends and extrapolation of technical state parametres of the lower part of the object, a comparator unit, a threshold device, a unit for mathematical modeling and calculating technical state parametres of the upper part, a unit for correcting parametres of the mathematical model of the object, an electronic switch, a unit for displaying prediction and monitoring information, a processing and output information unit and an output information grading unit. In another version the system for monitoring technical state of buildings and structures can be made with possibility of reacting to impact action in form of a microseismic background and/or technogenic character.

EFFECT: design of a method of monitoring and predicting technical state of an objct and a system for realising the method, which could enable at an early stage of development of adverse seismic and/or hydrogeological processes to predict the technical state of the superstructure of an object for a long period of time, thereby implementing a range of measures to prevent destruction of the object if necessary.
