FIELD: pharmacology. SUBSTANCE: method involves concentrating 4-iodantipyrine on glass carbon electrode or pyrographite electrode in stirred solution using electrochemical methods during 40-60 s under electrolysis potential Ee=(-0.15÷0.05) V on the background of 0.1 N sodium citrate solution or 0.2 N sodium hydrophosphate solution or 0.2 N potassium dihydrophosphate solution in presence of 10% ethyl or isopropyl alcohol solution. Anode peaks are recorded in taking voltamperograms in differential mode and potential scan speed being equal to 30-50 mV/s. 4-iodantipyrine concentration is determined from anode peak height in potential range from 1.00 to 1.25 V relative to saturate silver chloride electrode. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and sensitivity of the method. 3 tbl
