FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plasma engineering, particularly to material for making electrodes of a low-temperature plasma generator. The material, which is obtained using a power metallurgy method, contains chromium in form of submicron particles, as well as iron and copper with the following ratio of components, wt %: iron 10-50; submicron chromium 0.5-1.5; copper - the rest. The said material can also contain chromium powder in form of particles with diametre of tens of micrometres, with the following ratio of components, wt %: iron 20-40, chromium particles with diametre of tens of micrometres 5-20; submicron chromium 0.5-1.5; copper - the rest.
EFFECT: longer service life of electrodes of low-temperature plasma generators.
