FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is provided for manufacturing of flat profile from zirconium alloys, used in the capacity of constructional material in active areas of nuclear reactors, in chemical and oil and gas industries. It is proposed method of manufacturing of flat profile from zirconium alloys. Method includes receiving of blank by forging, heating, hot rolling, beginning of which is implemented in the range lower the temperature of (alpha + beta)- beta transformation for 70-150°C, intermediate thermal treatment, cold rolling and final thermal treatment. Cold rolling is implemented at least in two stages, between which it is implemented additional thermal treatment in the range of temperatures (alpha + beta). It is achieved necessary level of mechanical properties, required from constructional materials for active areas of nuclear reactor, at keeping of plasticity reserve in the process of flat profile manufacturing.
EFFECT: increasing of processability of zirconium alloys and reduction of discard ratio.
