FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in casting ingot, in hot forging and in production of flat work piece and in its mechanical treatment by cutting face from ribs of work piece or by their rounding. Further, work-pieces are subjected to high-vacuum homogenous annealing at temperature 800-900°C during 4-6 hours, to hot rolling with intermediate heating and summary deformation 80-82.5 %, to cold rolling with summary deformation 80-88 % and to intermediate and finish annealing. Surface of fabricated sheets is roughed; sheets are cut into plates according to specified dimensions and are finished. After each cold rolling with deformation 24-35 % work pieces are subjected to high vacuum intermediate annealing at temperature 825-915°C during 1-3 hours.
EFFECT: upgraded quality of manufactured metal plates out of hafnium at reduced prime cost of production.
