FIELD: manufacture of tubular products from a zirconium alloy.
SUBSTANCE: ingot is smelted by repeated vacuum-arc remelting, ingot machining, heating, multi-stage hot forging of the ingot to obtain a forging blank, subsequent machining of the forging blank to obtain a round billet, production of pipe billets, their quenching and tempering. Then, a protective coating is applied to the tubular blanks and they are heated to a hot pressing temperature, followed by hot pressing, removal of the protective coating from them, vacuum heat treatment and repeated cold rolling to obtain tubular products. After each cold rolling, an intermediate vacuum heat treatment is carried out. The final vacuum heat treatment is carried out at the final size, followed by finishing operations.
EFFECT: high strength characteristics of tubular products and their high corrosion resistance are ensured.
