FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines (ICE) with prechamber-torch ignition of the air-fuel mixture. A device for prechamber-torch ignition of the air-fuel mixture for internal combustion engines is proposed, which includes a prechamber housing 1 with an internal cavity, which is a combustion chamber 2, and a hole communicating with it for installing a spark plug 3 and a nozzle 5. Depending on the design, the device is equipped with either two electrically controlled valves 6, 7 for separate supply of air and fuel gas into the combustion chamber 2 of the prechamber, or one solenoid valve 10 for supply of a pre-prepared air-fuel mixture. The combustion chamber 2 of the prechamber is spherical in shape, the inner surface of the combustion chamber 2 of the prechamber and the cylindrical channel 4 is coated with ceramic coating. Nozzle 5 has a conical diffuser fixed in the cylindrical channel 4 using a sleeve.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at expanding the range of products for converting diesel engines to run on gas fuel and makes it possible to increase the efficiency of ignition of the air-fuel mixture, as well as increase the reliability and safety of use of the device itself.
