FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electrotechnical industry, in particular to illuminating gas-discharge lamps of common purpose. Technical result is achieved by the fact that in gas-discharge lamp, comprising burner of optically transparent material with tightly installed electrodes, having rod of refractory metal with sintered mass fixed on it that consists of refractory metal powder and emission substance, emission substance represents a mixture of barium-calcium tungstate Ba2CaWO6 and barium aluminate BaAl2O4 in ratio from 1:3 to 2:1 and overall content from 10 to 50 wt percents versus weight of refractory metal powder.
EFFECT: increased durability of lamp with reduction of its prime cost.
