TURBO ELECTRIC STATION Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC H02K7/18 H02P9/48 B63H21/20

Abstract RU 2382473 C1

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of electric engineering and power engineering and may be used in design of turboelectric plants, intended for production of electric energy. Turboelectric station comprises two identical plants, every of which includes turbine (2) and electromagnetic generator, rotor (3) of which is installed on one shaft with turbine. Rotor (3) is connected by means of bearings to body (4), where stator is rigidly fixed (5). Shafts (1) of both plants are installed on one axis and joined to each other via connection unit 6, which is arranged as sliding bearing. Turbines (2) of plants are structurally arranged with the possibility to provide for unidirectional rotation of shafts and opposite direction of axial forces generated by them. Bodies (4) of generators are rigidly connected to each other. Generators are connected to evenly loading semiconductor converter. Converter is arranged in the form of three-phase rectifiers (7) and inverter (8). Inlets of rectifiers (7) are connected accordingly to outlets of generator, and serially connected outlets - to inverter (8). Due to arrangement of turbines with opposite direction of blades, both turbines and, accordingly, both shafts (1) rotate to single side as working fluid is supplied. Plants are identical, are loaded in the same manner, frequencies of rotation of their movable parts are practically equal, and axial forces generated by turbines are also identical, at the same time they are mutually compensated in connection unit (6).

EFFECT: improved power of turboelectric station wit simultaneous increase of reliability.
