FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to heat engineering, can be used in furnaces of steam boilers of thermal power plants when firing clinkering coals. Technical effect is achieved by method of firing clinkering coals in vertical frontal furnace with single-tier arrangement of four burners by directing the later at an angle to furnace axis; at that, when side burner is tripped, rotation angle of burners in operation is set according to the following ratio: αn = α(1.25+1.125n-0.5n2), and when central burner is tripped, rotation angle of burners in operation is set according to the following ratio: αn=α(1.25+0.5n-0.25n2), where α - initially set rotation angle of all burners to furnace axis; αn - rotation angle of n burner in operation to furnace axis; n - operating burner No., starting counting from side burner in operation, which is located opposite the tripped one, in the direction of tripped burner.
EFFECT: improving firing quality and operating reliability by eliminating thermal non-uniformity in active combustion area in order to prevent slagging of heating water wall surfaces when one of burners is tripped.
