FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed controller serves to prevent discharge of electric power accumulated on power accumulation module in case vehicle derails or overhead contact wire breaks. It incorporates DC converter with one pair of output terminals connected with inverter side connected with DC power supply. Power accumulation module is connected with another pair of DC converter output terminals to store electric power. Switch is connected in between DC converter and power accumulation module. Control nodule open said switch in case abnormal conditions originate.

EFFECT: ruling out power discharge in abnormal conditions when emergency signal is input into control module.
