FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in drive systems of electric vehicles. Accumulator of variable configuration comprises at least one unit of series-connected battery cells, each having a positive and a negative pole. Poles are connected by means of switches with corresponding output connections. Inclusion of a set of switches with control processor changes configuration of at least several battery cells on configuration in which voltage is supplied to output connection. Output voltage of accumulator can vary from 0 V to maximum voltage generated by series-connected battery cells. Alternative configuration switches separates groups of series-connected battery cells into separate storage units, which make it possible to create other configuration of battery cells. Control of working cycle of switches allows implementing intermediate control of output voltage at reduced transient processes at switching.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of combined with electric motor selective control of speed and reduction of battery charge in accordance with output parameters of motor.
