FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in heating water supplied to heat consumer in main heat exchanger simultaneously included into circuit of heat utilisation of exhaust gases of process aggregates and into circuit of heat consumers. Additionally there is included the circuit of a hot water boiler with an additional heat exchanger incorporated into the circuit of a heat consumer. Upon water heating in the main heat exchanger there is performed control of water temperature; depending on temperature water is supplied either into the additional heat exchanger of the hot water boiler for heating to temperature required by a consumer, or is directed immediately to a heat consumer. Also temperature of water supplied to the heat consumer is regulated by changing consumption of fuel for hot water boiler operation and by changing consumption of water through the main and additional heat exchangers depending on temperature in the circuit of heat utilisation and in the circuit of the hot water boiler.
EFFECT: maximal utilisation of heat of exhaust gases of process aggregate at minimal consumption of power.
