FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to terminal box (24b) for telecommunication lines. Proposed terminal box (24b) consists of housing (32b) and cover (34b). Said housing represents a moulded two-wall structure making, in fact, a cavity. Housing (32b) has opposite upper and lower walls and opposed face walls (68b), as well as rear wall arranged there between. Cover (34b) is pivoted with upper wall. A section of at least one of opposed face walls (68b) makes a constricted two-wall section accommodating communication line port (70b).
EFFECT: switched communication lines can be connected on free end face side to ensure sufficient mechanical strength of housing face walls.
