SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rail transport and can be used for manufacture of spider of points and dead junctions. Spider contains front and rear spans, core, and two wing rails forming a spider neck. Spider has a lateral profile superelevation at the section limited by the spider neck and core cross-section equal to rail head width. Longitudinal profile of superelevation smoothly adjoins the front and rear spans.

EFFECT: increase of spider life with metal wear margin due to elimination of possibility of development of scalloping wear caused by bending angles of tread at boundaries of area where wheels roll from wing rails to core and back.
