FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: blunt crosspiece for a dead crossing comprises chutes (7, 8) and a zone of wheels rollover from guard rails (3, 4) to cores (1, 2). Chutes (7, 8) are formed by side working edges (9, 10) of guard rails (3, 4) and cores (1, 2) with rolling surfaces having transverse inclines, equal to inclines of a standard wheel profile (15). In the zone of rollover guard rails (3, 4) are made as elevating over cores (1, 2), and a tap of this elevation to the level of travel rail heads is arranged within cantilevers (11, 12) of the crosspiece. The longitudinal profile of guard rails (3, 4) elevation is complemented with a figure in the form of a symmetrical trapezoid (22). The base (23) of the trapezoid (22) connects borders of the rollover zone with the upper horizontal side (24), corresponding to the distance between ends (25) of the cores (1, 2). The height of the trapezoid (22) is equal to an allowance for the vertical wear of the crosspiece.
EFFECT: longer service life of a blunt crosspiece.
