FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: spider for rail crossing comprises front and rear overhangs, cores and two mites that form spider neck, zone of wheel rolling from mites onto core limited by spider neck, on one side, and core section equal to rail head width, on the other side. Said spider comprises also elevations of lengthwise rolling surface profile in aforesaid zone described by the curve crossing horizontal surfaces of said rear and front overhangs at angles with apices located in rolling zone boundary points. Note here that spider rolling surfaces located opposite said angles represent circular curves inscribed therein and having radius equal to that of rolling stock wheels. Length of rolling surface lengthwise profile elevations exceeds that of rolling zone by two tangents of above curves.
EFFECT: longer life.
