FIELD: test engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to diagnosis of process equipment operating condition, particularly to bridge cranes of radial operation for recovering their serviceability during repair. Diagnosis procedure consists in crane shutdown, in arranging geodesic instrumentation in the region of balancers, in their orientation, in forming basis directions, in measuring positions of wheels of bogie relative to formed basis directions and in evaluating position of travelling wheels. First, there is measured bogie of the crane, including little and big chords between the main balancers, and also chord of the main balancers, whereupon geometric parametres of crane bogie are studied. With shut down crane there is determined position of symmetry axes of travelling wheels relative to the centre of rotation and there is controlled positional relationship of the main balancers, and balancers and travelling wheels relative to basis directions formed with geodesic instrumentation. While processing results of measurements, there is determined optimal internal radius of the crane bogie; further there is determined rated radius; using valued of rated radius and chords there are determined actual theoretical geometrical characteristics of the crane bogie. Skew and radial run out are determined by difference of factual and practical geometry parametres of position of travelling wheels of the crane.
EFFECT: efficient study of radial operation bridge cranes.
