FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to production of storage batteries. In compliance with this invention, storage battery has housing accommodating. Alternating positive and negative electrodes dipped into electrolyte, separated by separators and attached, via ears, to poles bridges connected with poles lead-outs. Electrodes consist of conductors with active mass applied thereon. Positive solid electrode conductor consists of 0.15-to-0.25 mm-thick lead-tin foil the alloy of which comprises Sn in the amount of 0.5 to 2.3 % by weight, the rest making Pb. Aforesaid electrode is electroplated on both sides with intermittent layer of the same alloy with thickness varying from 0.20 to 0.50 mm and periodic structure. Note that the period of structure does not exceed 3.00 mm, while positive electrode thickness makes 1.00 to 1.90 mm. Negative electrode conductor is solid and consists of carbon 0.40 to 0.60 mm-thick fabric electroplated on both sides with a 0.05 to 0.10 mm-thick layer of lead-tin alloy. Composition of the latter comprises Sn in the amount of 0.5 to 2.3 % by weight, the rest being represented by Pb. Negative conductor thickness makes 1.00 to 1.45 mm.
EFFECT: increased specific power and longer life.
