SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. Method for canceling request for location information is proposed, where if a location server which has received a request for information on location of a specific terminal from an external client cannot send the said external client information on location of this terminal, this location server can cancel the said request without a request for cancellation from the external client.
EFFECT: more efficient use of the communication network and reduced load on the location server.
