SUBSTANCE: method of loose medium compaction is realised by means of tool interacting with vibration mechanism. The tool consists of a compacting blade and of a ramming plate installed to travel relative to the blade. The tool immersed and extracted out of loose material is subject to vibration oscillations from the compacting blade and the ramming plate. Period of mutual effect of the compacting blade and the ramming plate on medium is not less, than 10 % of common time of tool contact with medium. At immersing tool into loose medium the moment of blade immersion into medium advances the moment of ramming plate contact with medium. At extracting the tool out of loose medium period of common effect of the compacting blade and the ramming plate of the tool onto medium is not less, than 4 % from time of extracting the tool out of medium.
EFFECT: high quality of loose medium compaction at minimal expenditures.
