FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: sealing-tamping unit comprises a ramming facility and vibration tools in the form of rods with sealing blades, a frame with a bearing structure of the unit installed on it as movable along the height. The ramming facility is arranged in the form of a metal chain. The chain is fixed either with one upper end or with two ends, forming a loop on the rod and/or on the bearing structure of the unit, and/or on the unit frame, and/or on the intermediate element, which connects the rod with the bearing structure of the unit directly or by means of additional elements.
EFFECT: increased action at ballast.
