FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns microbiology and biotechnology. The method involves separate cultivation of Escherichia, staphylococci, Protei and blue pus bacilli on a normalised fluid synthetic medium containing in grams per 1 l of distilled water: citric acid - 8.0; asparagine - 1.0; chloride sodium - 7.0; zinc sulphate - 0.2; magnesium sulphate - 0.4; ferrous sulphate - 0.2; two-substituted potassium phosphate - 3.0; glycerine - 40 ml with pH 7.5±0.1. Staphylococci are grown to 10±2.0 bln/ml within 10-12 days, Escherichia - to 60±10 bln/ml within 2-3 days, Protei and blue pus bacilli - to a homogeneous mucoid suspension. It is followed with sterilisation at 1.0 atm. within 20-30 minutes, detoxification with two detoxicants, at first with 0.2% formalin at 42°C within 5-6 days, and then 0.5% ethonium at 45°C within 6-7 days. The produced preparations are mixed in the equal volumes and sorbed on 1-3 mg/ml of aluminium hydroxide, bottled and sterilised within 30 minutes at 100°C.
EFFECT: anatoxin-vaccine exhibits high efficiency in prevention and treatment of purulent-septic conditions.
