FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended for dissolution, emulsification and dispersion of free-flowing media and can be used in food, chemical, fodder, oil production, construction and other industries of national economy. Proposed impeller has inner chamber furnished with vanes and channels communicating said chamber with the impeller outer lateral surface. Impeller outer lateral surface has tangential slot-like channels narrowing towards fluid outlet. Channels have front and rear walls, as related to rotor rotation, front walls being provided with a chamber arranged on fluid outlet side. Said chamber makes free-flowing medium running from aforesaid slot-like channels directed along impeller motion enlarging abruptly the channel configuration, thus, abruptly changing pressure in processed medium. The latter brings about strong turbulence accompanied by cavitation and intensive sound and ultrasound radiation.
EFFECT: higher process efficiency.
