FIELD: welding technique. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recovery of carbon steel pieces with weld deposition under carbon dioxide and fluxing. The blend is composed of (in wt %): fluorite concentrate, 3.5-16.0; rutile concentrate, 1.5-4.0; marble, 1.2-3.0; manganese, 2.5-5.5; ferrotitanium, 0.8- 2.4; ferrovanadium, 0.1-0.4; ferromolybdenum, 1.6-3.8; chromium, 1.8-3.0; ferrosilicon, 1.6-2.8; magnesium carbonate (crude magnesite), 1.5-15.0; nepheline concentrate, 0.7-2.0; iron powder, the balance. EFFECT: increased strength and wear resistance of weld deposition metal and welding process characteristics. 2 tbl
