FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to recuperative heat recovery of dust-laden gases of non-ferrous metallurgy furnaces, namely copper purification furnace. Waste heat recovery method of copper purification furnace involves cooling of waste gases in tubular recuperator at ambient air being ore-heated and supplied to it. At that, pre-heating of ambient air before it is supplied to tubular recuperator is performed by its being mixed with some part of heated air left from recuperator in the ratio of 1:(0.12-0.4) by volume. Value of the ratio of volumes of ambient air and part of heated air left from recuperator is established at its value providing the support of mixture temperature within 50-60°C and at 90-110% of dew point of waste gases cooled in recuperator.
EFFECT: reducing costs when carrying out the method.
