METHOD OF PROCESSING WOUND SURFACE OF SPLEEN IN CASE OF ITS ATYPICAL RESECTIONS Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2387387 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to abdominal surgery, and can be applied in treatment of patients with non-parasitic cysts of spleen for processing of spleen wound surface in case of its atypical resections. For this purpose hemostatic suture is applied on organ wound surface, all manipulations being performed on dry organ. On the border of pathologic formation and parenchyma of spleen cat of capsule is made. Dissection is performed with formation of strongly concave wound surface. After that ligation of the largest vessels is performed, then sewing of wound surface is started "from the bottom". For this purpose several rows of uninterrupted blanket hemostatic sutures are applied, direction of stitches being perpendicular to location of trabecules or at angle to them. After that wound surfaces are brought together like oyster valves. Then in "valves" projection second group of hemostatic sutures are applied in form of wide through "П"-shaped sutures, passing through both valves of oyster.

EFFECT: with application of claimed method practically all functionally active spleen parenchyma with main blood supply is preserved, in addition, method allows to manage without highly technologic equipment and expensive hemostatic materials.
