FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used when performing resection of the spleen. For this purpose, perform the selection and the intersection of blood vessels that feed the removed part of the spleen. Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is performed at the border of the upcoming resection by immersing the electrode in the spleen parenchyma for 20–40 seconds, followed by dissecting the parenchyma with a cutting tool. Distance between the electrode pricks is 1.0–1.5 cm. Electrode is immersed and the necrosis zone is formed under ultrasound control, and the electrode is immersed by surface injection of the active electrode with its further immersion perpendicular to the organ length. Dissection of the parenchyma is carried out in such a way that the necrosis zone from 3 to 5 mm remains on the preserved part of the spleen.
EFFECT: method ensures minimization of the risk of intraoperative blood loss and the development of postoperative complications caused by bleeding.
