FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: elastic intraocular lens contains optic part and two diametrically located petals of flat-bed gaptic elements with area of bending. Length of gaptic elements exceeds size of posterior petal of crystalline lens capsule, and area of gaptic elements bending is at a distance from optic part of lens and is made with possibility of even stretching of capsular sac of crystalline lens in equator zone and in anterior-posterior direction. In gaptic elements of lens along their longitudinal axis there are holes bigger in size than area of gaptic elements bending. Gaptic elements are made with possibility of twisting of their distal ends. On lateral external surfaces of proximal parts and near distal ends of gaptic elements from the hole side along longitudinal axis of gaptic elements there are cuts, made with possibility of gaptic elements divergence when they rest against fornix of capsular sac, and more even distribution of area of contact with it.
EFFECT: application of invention will allow to reduce probability of post-operational complications of intraocular correction of aphakia, induced by disturbance of form of crystalline lens capsular sac and its uneven stretching.
