FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Bifocal volume-substituting optical system consists of two IOLs - the main and additional IOLs, with identical on sizes and parametres flat haptic elements which are made with possibility to be bent in vaults KMX and to uniformly stretch it in an equatorial zone and in anteroposterior direction. Main IOL is arranged so that the distal ends of the haptic elements with their posterior surface contact with the front KMX leaflet. Additional IOL has central hole in optical part and is located on central optical axis of optical system in parallel plane to main optical part of IOL before it, with its partial overlapping for summation of optical power of lenses (in their overlapping zone) and providing correction for nearby. Additional IOL is arranged such that its main longitudinal axis of symmetry is perpendicular to the main longitudinal axis of symmetry of the main IOL, wherein the distal ends of the distal ends of the haptic elements of the additional IOL are in contact with the posterior leaf of the capsular sac, and the components of the optical system are not in contact with each other.
EFFECT: optical system enables providing simultaneous aphakic correction for near and far, preserves the pre-operative form of KMX and its ligamentous apparatus.
