FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to installations designed for recycling magnetic liquid (ML) after use in FGS- and MG processes - separation of magnetic materials according to density, and can therefore be widely used in separating secondary coloured scrap and extracting precious metals from concentrates, when designing measuring and recording apparatus and devices with large consumption of magnetic liquid. The installation for recycling magnetic liquid has a reception chamber connected to a unit for washing the separated material wet from the magnetic liquid, a container for the mixture of magnetic and washing liquids, a container for the washing liquid, a container for recycled magnetic liquid and a container for separated material. The device for washing the separated material is in form of a pipe installed with inclination and fitted with a moving device which is an auger on the helical surface of which there are openings. The device for washing has a tray fitted with a gap from the bottom part of the pipe and sealed to the pipe along the perimetre of the tray. The bottom part of the pipe above the tray is perforated. The installation also has a flash tower, the vapour phase outlet of which is connected to the tray, the liquid phase outlet of which is connected to the container for recycling magnetic liquid, and the inlet of the flash tower is connected to the container for the mixture of magnetic and washing liquid. The liquid outlet of the device for washing is connected to the container for the mixture of magnetic and washing liquid, and the oppositely lying outlet of separated material is connected to a riser fitted with airtight cork material.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of washing liquid, reduced power consumption, increased safety of using the installation.
