FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: first reaction stage a) of the offered method involves interaction of glycerine and aldehyde or ketone to produce acetal, while the second reaction stage b) implies that acetal produced at the first reaction stage a) with free hydroxy-groups is etherified with tertiary olefins. Besides the invention relates to application of produced oxygenate in amount 0.1 vol. % to maximum 30 vol. % as a combustion catalyst, uppermost diesel fuel, petrol and methyl ether of rapeseed oils, and also to fuel containing said catalyst.
EFFECT: addition of the produced oxygenate as a combustion catalyst to fuel allows lowering solid particle ejection and improving combustibility in comparison with clear fuel of the same type.
