FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices for processing of solid and liquid materials by flame method and can be used in vertical furnaces for combustion of medical, industrial and domestic waste. Vertical furnace includes combustion chamber with a charging opening of continuously supplied solid fragmented material, which is located on the grate under which ash removal trays are installed. Afterburning chamber of gaseous combustion products, which is interconnected with combustion chamber by means of central hole made in intermediate arch, is equipped with a discharge branch pipe installed normally relative to longitudinal axis. Central hole of intermediate arch is made in the form of a nozzle the flow passage of which is 9-13% of cross-section of chambers, and height of nozzle is equal to two its diametres. At that, nozzle is equipped with two rows of distributed air supply channels directed to afterburning chamber at angle of 30°. In ash removal trays there installed are screw conveyors above which there arranged is a scraper connected to cross feed mechanism, and grate is tubular and perforated and connected to air supply system and equipped with agitator made in the form of eccentrics kinemtically connected to reversible turn drive.
EFFECT: enlarging technological capabilities and functional reliability of two-chamber furnace at improving its ecological properties.
