FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for the processing of solid and viscous materials by the fire method in vertical furnaces with a separate combustion chamber and is intended for the incineration of medical, industrial and domestic waste. Vertical furnace comprises a combustion chamber equipped with a charging branch and connected through a central opening of the intermediate roof with a post-combustion chamber communicating with a tangential outlet branch and a normal exhaust port provided with a hinged lid and an oxidizing air supply system for the grate on which a solid, fragmented material is loaded portion by piece, into the loading tube and through the distributed inclined channels into the central communication hole of the arch. Moreover, the loading branch is provided with a sluice including a slide lined shutter and a rotary lid, between which is mounted the hose of the exhaust pump connected with the combustion chamber located inside the confuser of the supply manifold of the oxidizing air, the distributed channels of which are inclined against the canals in the arch, the radius of the central communication hole of the combustion and afterburning chambers comparable to the height of the roof is a quarter of the diameter of the chambers.
