FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas production industry and may be used in construction and repair and preventive maintenance at gas mains. Method includes air pumping into disconnected repaired section of gas line, besides pumping is carried out in two stages. Moreover, at the first stage pumping is carried out by compressor of the first stage of medium pressure with outlet value of up to 1.0-1.5 MPa, and as pressure in pumped section achieves 60-70% of the possible maximum value, outlet of the first stage compressor is re-connected to inlet of booster device. Working medium is gas, and energy consumed is potential energy of pressure difference between low-head chambers of ejectors and pressure upstream closed linear valve of disconnected section. At the same time inlets of ejectors are connected to main upstream closed linear valve of disconnected section, and outlets - to working run, valve of link arranged upstream disconnected section is closed, or its throughput is temporarily reduced, to provide for the necessary flow of ejection gas via ejectors.
EFFECT: reduction of equipment metal intensity, time of air pumping, lower consumption of fuel and lubricants.
