FIELD: measurement technique.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to angular velocity value measurements for moving object using gyroscopic effect. The device for angular velocity measurement contains acoustic surface waves (ASW) converter consisting of interdigitated transducer 1 located on piezoelectric layer 2 applied on dielectric base 3 and to which supply voltage is delivered and two symmetrically positioned relative to interdigitated transducer multielement reflectors 4 and 5. Each element of each multielement reflector is partially located on optical conductor along it predeposited on the base, and ends of two optical conductors 6 and 7 are connected with inputs of phase detector 8, and inputs of optical conductors are connected with source of light emission located symmetrically relative to elements of multielement reflector.
EFFECT: enhancement of single-input SAW resonators due to angular velocity measurement.
