SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and is to be used for measurement of angular velocity of a moving object with the help of gyroscopic effect. One excites two standing surface acoustic waves (SAW) in opposite directions with the help of a interdigital transducer in the sides of two multielement reflectors and measures the difference of the values of the reflector elements facet deformations occurring under the impact of surface acoustic waves in the angular motion state and without it.

EFFECT: invention enables dispersion and useful signal distortion reduction.
