FIELD: instrumentation technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in instrument engineering and mechanic engineering for angular rate. Gyroscope contains piezo-electric plate where inter-digital transducers of acoustic surface wave drivers and inter-digital transducers of acoustic surface wave oscillations sensors are mounted. The latter are situated non-parallel to inter-digital transducers of acoustic surface wave drivers and reflecting structures are located outside inter-digital transducers. In addition, inter-digital transducers of acoustic surface wave oscillations sensors are located in parallel between each other grooves on the way of acoustic surfaces wave distribution to be generated by inter-digital transducers of acoustic surface wave drivers. Grooves are ensured with alternating narrow points and expansions in the points of amplitude peaks for standing acoustic surface wave. Waves are generated by inter-digital transducers of acoustic surface wave driver. Spikes of inter-digital transducers of acoustic surface wave oscillations sensors are equidistant from the nearest groove sides along the whole length of grooves. Measuring is also possible after electrical disconnection of inter-digital transducers of acoustic surface wave drivers.

EFFECT: improvement of angular rate measuring accuracy.
