SUBSTANCE: detecting element for measuring mechanical stress consists of a piezoelectric plate, an interdigital transducer and reflecting structures. The reflecting structures consist of a group of reflectors in form of grooves or prongs lying on both sides of the interdigital transducer. The number of grooves or prongs in each group is equal to N. Reflecting structures on one side of the interdigital transducer are further shifted by λ is length of the surface acoustic wave.

EFFECT: high sensitivity and accuracy of measuring mechanical stress.
