FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to angiosurgery. While performing angiographic examination in order to determine character and localisation of pathology of main vessels, template is used, which is installed on patient's anterior abdominal wall and fixed strictly in accordance with anatomical landmarks. By mutual position on roentgenogram of shadows of main vessels and template, projection of affected vessel on anterior abdominal wall is determined taking into account individual and age variability of said patient. Obtained information is later used while performing angiosurgical operation.

EFFECT: method ensures increase of treatment efficiency due to providing surgeons with possibility to detect place of optimal access to affected main vessels accurately, due to which eliminated is excessive trauma of patient's tissues during operational intervention, which results in reduction of post-operational complications and therefore treatment terms.
