FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of minerals concentration, in particular to concentration of diamond-containing ores and may be used in processing of other types of ore and non-ore materials. Method for extraction of diamonds from ores includes crushing of ore, fractionating of crushed ore by size, extraction of diamonds by means of X-ray luminescent separation, discharging tails into dump. Fractionating of crushed ore by size is carried out simultaneously with its primary vibration concentration with production of large-grained and fine-grained concentrates and tail product. Tail product is exposed to additional crushing in closed cycle with primary vibration concentration, fine-grained concentrate of primary vibration concentration is exposed to cleaning vibration concentration, concentrate of which is sent for X-ray luminescent separation for extraction of diamonds. Diamonds from large-grained concentrate of primary vibration concentration is also extracted by X-ray luminescent separation. Tails of X-ray luminescent separation is sent for additional crushing together with tails of primary vibration concentration. Tails of cleaning vibration concentration are screened into classes of fineness, besides undersize product of screening is sent into dump, and oversize product is exposed to additional crushing with return of crushed product into primary vibration concentration. Additional crushing of dressing products is done in the mode of centrifugal impact damage. Additional crushing of large-grained products of dressing is done in mode of volume compression. X-ray luminescent separation is carried out after fractionating of dressed materials by fineness classes.

EFFECT: improved extraction of diamonds, better conditions of diamonds detection and dressing, and also cheapening of dressing technology and improved ecological safety of diamond-containing ores processing.
