FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biological treatment of industrial and household waste water. Waste water undergoes mechanical treatment and solid precipitations are separated. The treated water is settled in a primary settling tank and primary sludge is separated. Aerobic biological treatment of the water with active sludge is carried out in an aerotank. The mixture of waste water and active sludge is settled in a secondary settling tank. Before feeding returning into the aerotank, the active sludge undergoes physical and mechanical treatment through ultrasound effect in a rotor apparatus with stream modulation into which atmospheric air is fed at the same time. The purified water is tapped from the treatment plant.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency and quality of the waste water biological treatment process.
