SUBSTANCE: protein level S-100B is determined in blood serum in a patient suffering diabetes mellitus 1 type (DM), in the absence of clinical implications of brain damages. At increase of its level to more than 140 ng/L a subclinical stage of diabetical encephalopathy (DE) is detected.
EFFECT: increase of accuracy and objectiveness of diagnostics DE at early stages, capability of well-timed and reasonable appropriate therapeutic indications.
