FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for diagnosis of parodontium inflammatory disease level of osteoprotegrin in blood serum is determined. At content of osteoprotegrin from 8.000 pmole/l to 11.999 pmole/l low-grade periodontitis is registered. At content of osteoprotegrin from 3.000 pmole/l to 7.999 pmole/l periodontitis of middle severity level is registered. At content of osteoprotegrin from 1.000 pmole/l to 2.999 pmole/l periodontitis of severe level is registered.
EFFECT: increase of effectiveness in diagnosis of periodontitis.
