FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly to production of metal alloys by sintering with no pressure. Metal particles that can enter eutectic reaction with carbon bound by organic material is heated in vacuum below 10-3 Pa. Note here that elementary carbon formed in decomposition of organic material reduces metal particle. Then heating is carried out at temperature equal to or slightly exceeding that of eutectic mix formation between carbon formed in decomposition of organic material and metal components of particles to cause local melting.
EFFECT: strong and dense material with lower contamination by carbon.
