FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology, and aims at treating dystrophic ophthalmopathies. Gel "Lamifaren" is prescribed in an oral dose 20 g once a day, 30 minutes before a meal. Additionally, "Selzinc" is prescribed in an oral dose 1 tablet; 30 minutes later, lateral galvanisation follows. Two anode electrodes are glued within the orbits, while the third cathode electrode - within the forehead on the midline, closer to the bridge of nose. Duration of galvanisation is 10 minutes, at current strength 1 mA. Number of procedures is 10. Then during three months, 20 g of gel "Lamifaren" and one tablet of "Selzinc" are administered daily. Said therapy is carried out every 2 months.
EFFECT: method allows improving the level of oxidation-reduction reactions, stimulating metabolic processes and stabilising cell membranes.
