FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in dehydration of chlorine-magnesium raw material in furnace of boiling bed by means of supply of fuel gases into bed; also fuel gases are produced at burning natural gas in furnace chamber and cooled in mixing chamber. Further, dehydration is carried out in a chlorinator with production of carnallite. Exhaust gases of the chlorinator are recovered; dehydrated carnallite is electrolysed in an electrolytic cell with a sectional cell and magnesium and chlorine are produced. During electrolysing chlorine is withdrawn into the chlorinator. Exhaust gases of the sectional cell are recovered and supplied into a system of sanitary extraction. Exhaust gases of the sectional cell of the electrolyser and exhaust gases of the chlorinator are mixed by means of separate supply into the chamber for their mixing and scrubbing. They are further scrubbed to contents of solid suspended particles of 2-5 g/m3. Mixture of scrubbed gases is divided in two parts at ratio of the first part of mixture to the second part of mixture 1:(3-6). The first part of mixture is supplied to the furnace chamber for mixing with natural gas and for burning. The second part of mixture of scrubbed gases is supplied into the mixing chamber for fuel gases cooling.

EFFECT: reduced expenditures of process and eliminating pollution of environment.
